Contact SANFIELD LAW for a free confidential consultation if your driver's license has been revoked for any reason and you are looking to get back on the road. 586 228-2000

SANFIELD LAW consistently wins over 90% of our license appeals cases including:
  • Revoked for DUI causing death or serious injury.
  • Revoked for a felony conviction involving a motor vehicle.
  • With complex substance abuse backgrounds over a long period
  • With major ignition interlock (BAIID) violations.
  • Have lost prior hearings.
SANFIELD LAW has a clear advantage over the competition because we have attended and won license appeal hearings for over four decades. We will create a winning and proven strategy for your license appeal. At the initial free consultation, we will provide to you the following:

  •  A winning strategy that addresses such things as our client's substance abuse history, sobriety date for alcohol and drugs and positive lifestyle changes. At the conclusion of the first consultation a client will be provided sample character letters and recommended a substance abuse professional, who will provide the required substance abuse evaluation and recommendation.
  • Reviewing documents and requesting a hearing date: Our attorneys will carefully review all the documentation that have been received and is necessary to request a hearing to ensure that it meets the requirements to satisfy the hearing officer so as to obtain a favorable result. Thereafter, it will be submitted and a hearing date forthwith will be requested. Our firm will attend hearings anywhere in Michigan. We are very active in the counties of Macomb, Oakland Wayne and St. Clair.
  • Preparation for the hearing. Our attorneys have over four decades of experience with almost every hearing officer in the state. We know the questions that are frequently asked at the appeal hearing. If the hearing officer is not satisfied with your answers to one or more of their questions, your hearing can be lost. For this reason, we will review potential questions to get you prepared for your hearing. Experience tells us that some of the following questions will be asked and covered at the hearing:

  • Are you an alcoholic?
  • Do you agree with the substance abuse evaluators diagnosis of alcoholism?
  • Can you attend places where the primary function is to serve alcohol?
  • Do you live with anyone who consumes alcoholic beverages?
  • Do you maintain alcohol in your home?
  • What would you do if you had an urge to drink again?
  • Why didn't you stop drinking after your first offense?
  • Do you attend AA/NA or any other relapse prevention programs?
  • Are you on any medication for pain, medication or sleep?
  • Do you use marijuana or have a medical marijuana card?
  • Did you comply with the terms and conditions of your probation?
  • What is your duty if you are granted driving privileges?
  • Representation at DAAD hearing before a hearing officer. At this hearing, client will be questioned extensively regarding the evidence and the questions above. We are extensively experienced, license appeal attorneys and will personally attend your driver's license appeal hearing and advocate for the restoration of your license.
  • Ignition Interlock Device Violations ("BAIID"). A person who is granted license may be required to have an Alcohol Ignition Interlock Device installed on their vehicle. The device measure bodily alcohol content and keeps the vehicle from starting if the BAC is .025 or higher. The device will also ask for random rolling retests while the person is driving.

In the event the device detects a violation, the Secretary of State can re-revoke your driving privileges based upon major Ignition Interlock Device Violations. However, you are entitled to a hearing on the alleged violation and SANFIELD LAW has fought and won major Interlock Violation cases, including allegations such as tamper/circumvent, rolling retests, unauthorized removal of the Ignition Interlock Device and positive alcohol readings. We have found that the state of Michigan unfairly reinstates many revocations and revokes your restricted drivers license when the interlock device is often the problem or because of a glitch in the vehicles electrical system.

Haven't you waited long enough? SANFIELD LAW has a proven track record of winning DAAD hearings to get you back on the road!

"Best Secretary of State for me!

I've used him in the past for minor things such as moving violations, he always got me off with no points on my record, so when I got into a bad situation I hired him and beat the system and he did hands down the best around!"
